Vent-visor question
My 94 xcab has the vent window (aka smokers window). I am looking for vent visors that will allow you to keep your window cracked in bad weather. My question is do the vent visors block the vent window from turning out? If anyone has visors on their vent window I would appreciate a pic. I want to make sure i will like it before dropping 50 bucks on them.
Thanks

When I looked up the part number on the website it said it worked with tent and non vent windows. I would assume that the visor goes all the way to the bottom of the A pillar, just as the ones in drmix's photo above.
I am fine with that as long as the vent window still swings open and doesnt hit the visor. drmix, if you could confrim this I will feel much better before ordering the visors.
Thanks!

Yeah they work just fine and the vent window swings all the way around. I can probably find the name of the brand on them if you want so youll know which one will work

Thanks drmix.......
As for the toytoa4x4's question, the only ones I find (smoked plastic) are vent-shade or vent-visor. They are sold at all auto parts places and can be had on ebay for around 35-40 bucks.
The parent company is Lund and the visor company is AVS (auto ventshade)... They make several different models... I like the standard vent shades that use 3m tape to bond to the car door. Ive had the in-channel type and have had them crack and fall out before.
here is a link. You select your year, make, model and get the model number. Then head to amazon or ebay and plug the part number in.

Keep in you can save money and get the set for a regular cab as most people dont like the ones that fit over the xcab swing out windows. They are gapped further away at the rear to account for the swinging window and do not look all that great. I see Ddrmix xcab is also missing the rear window sets.
BTW, note that they claim the same visor fits vented windows and on vented windows but never claim that the vent window can still operate. Thats why I wanted to check with someone here..thanks again drmix.
