Valve adjustment on Rebuild

I'm finishing up a 22re rebuild and I'm not sure what to adjust the valves to before starting it for the first time. I put an EB268 cam in and the head has been freshened. The eb cam calls for .007" on the intake and .009" on the exhaust but that is with a hot engine. The rockers are really loose after putting it back together and I don't think it would be a good idea to break in a new cam with that much valve lash. Any help is appreciated.

When the engine gets hotter, the clearances get tighter... You can spec it to .007 and .009 now, won't hurt anything.. Just adjust it again after you're able to warm it up.
