Value Questions
So I have acquired this 4Runner, and I have no idea what its value is. It's sort of a unique vehicle. Here's a rundown...
Year: 1990
Model: SR5 4WD
Engine: 3.0 V6
Options: A/C (doesnt work), Rear Air (don't think it works either), Power steering, Power Windows, Power door locks, Tilt wheel, Cruise control (dont think it works tho), ABS, Running Boards, and OEM wheels
Mileage: Unknown, somewhere around 200,000. Smart guy before me changed guages and didn't write it down. Currently says 76,000.
Mechanical: Runs unbelievably well. Over heats on highways. Leaks decent amount of oil, as well as showing it has no oil pressue, but seems to run perfect. 4WD seems to work great, as it has gotten me out of some sticky situations. Just replaced radiator, thermostat, and radiator cap.
Interior: Sort of ugly, as in 80's brown. I've cleaned it up and its in real good shape. Lots of room, like 99% of parts present, maybe a cd player, not torn but little hole on side of drivers seat. Decent stains, mostly in trunk/bed.
Exterior: Ugly. Two tone (light brown and dark brown). Good amount of rust, but I've definetly seen worse on older Toyotas. Busted up hood and grill, but thats not too horrible for off roader. I can get pictures, but just imagine what the word 'ugly' would sound like. It looks like that.
What doesnt work: A/C, heater, cruise control, sometimes back seat windows, window washer shooters, locks work weird, and rear wiper. Probably some other stuff
Kelly Blue Book says $2,485 in fair condition but I dont know about that... I paid $800 with another set of wheels/tires I'm selling for $250. So far I'm down $800 if these wheels get sold. I should be able to get that back, right?
Thanks for any help,
Richard.
