V6 Surf wont idle when hot/warm
Hey guys , so im trying to figure this odd problem i have with my 1991 Surf 3lt V6,
I bought the truck from a trade in yard in mint condition a few months ago with only 100k on the clock. The truck ran great for a week or so and then decided to take it in to Toyota for a service (didint actually need one but what the hey ) and while it was there i got them to do a full check up on the truck and it passed with flying colors except for a leaky rocket cover gasket which i got them to replace.
After the work was done on it the surf began to cut out while it was warm but only after i stopped the truck , for example i will drive it for say around 30-40 mins , stop the truck go in to a shop for 10 mins and when i return to start the car it wont hold its idle and cut out.
I have taken it back to toyota several times but they can not seem to figure the problem out or say its fixed then it just happens again on the way home,
i was told by a friend that it might be the coil ignition or coil igniter ? should i just try my luck at buying a new or second hand coil or could it be something else?
any help appreciated
