v6 losing water

my 89 v6 is loseing water some were but dont know were from ,no oil in water but it has a ruff idle like water is getting injected with the fuel

with nothing else to go on, I'd say head gasket.
have you taken the radiator cap off and looked for bubbles?

it bubbles big ones not small ones and on oil in water the guy I got it from just had some one replace the valve cover gaskets and radiator toyota did the head gaskets in 89

losing water and bubbles in the radiator are 95% head gasket caused.

Sounds like a HG. Do a pressure test of the cooling system. Make sure its the HG.

Toyota... repair manual for model year 89 to 95.

Yeah, those 3.0 HG blows out at #1 and #6 everytime.

I just did a 91 HG last week. it's a big job. and sorry yours fell victim to that.
