v6 3rd member question

i searched around here like mad for a thread that would help, but no dice. I'm replacing my third member with a geared one, but i have a sensor on the top of the third housing and the new one doesn't. wtf is it and so i need it? if it requires a pic i'll post one.

I THINK it's for the ABS system, but don't quote me on that

unplug it; if you're ABS light comes on, you know what it's for

no, brakes will still work as they should just you won't have the anti-lock feature.
