V-6 3.0 ***

Obviously there is one; but can some one explain the differance in all the3.0 V-6 engines? Does any have a list that shows the differance between say a supra motor and a 4-Runner motor? Are they the same blocks with differant pans? That is the kind of information I would like to know. I through a rod in my 4-Runner and want to know what all vehicles I could get a block out of. It seams the VZE motor cost a lot more than the rest of the Toyota V-6 3.0.

the supra uses an inline 6 in all of their offerings, not a v6... The only similar block to the 3vze is the 3vzfe sister engine in the camrys. That block is equipped with 24v heads...

The only problem is nobody has been able to do a transplant yet as the intake is facng the wrong way - it would be a ton of fab work to get it to work, it is easier to do the 3.4 swap.

Isn't the 5VZ pretty much the same block?

to get technical, ALL of the VZ engines are based around the same block.
