Reading this thread over, I believe that the lesson we should all take out of this is:
A. Hopping curbs is illegal
B. Destroying private property is no good
C. We all just want to have some fun.
If it makes anyone feel better, think of it this way. If any sort of apocalypse were to happen everyone in your city already knows your 4x4 will be able to make it over the curb faster than their sedan.
Remember to Tread Lightly and be safe!

Yes, I will sometimes "Urban Wheel". Yes, sometimes I charge into a puddle, yes I sometimes make use of the locally plowed fields, and yes, we all at some point do little things in our 4x4's we wouldn't normally do if we had a car.
If anyone says otherwise, they're either being a prude or just denying their own fun. Everyone does it sometimes, and it's part of why we love our Toyota Off-Road vehicles.
..and to stir the pot even more, my family and I are active in trail work, preservation, and access..so there!

I don't really urban wheel as in jump curbs and stuff,
but living in the city you don't have many options if you wanna wheel close to home.
I go to some spots up over the railroad tracks and play around the gravel piles and mud,but i try to keep it on the downlow so I can continue to go to the spots.
My friend however, is a nut and jumps curbs, goes through huge puddles on the road after a rain, burns out in the taco bell drive through, hits speed bumps at 40mph, etc.
I'm 17 and ofcourse I'd love to drive like an idiot, but I can't afford too.So I drive like an old lady on the streets.

That sounds exactly like my friend. Me and my buddy were driving around the back of the mall and we saw a ton of tracks through the grass, weaving in and out of trees and stuff, completely tore the grass up and dug good size ruts in the dirt. I looked at my buddy and said, "Hey I bet that was XXXX haha." I then texted XXXX and asked him if he had done the slolam (sp?) through the trees behind the mall and his reply was, "Hehe, yup!
". Kinda pissed me off. He does that all the time though, burnouts, jumping stuff, hopping curbs, "drifting", etc etc. Its fun but frustrating at the same time. But as to hitting the big puddles of water after a rain, its just adult puddle jumping. You used to do it walking when you were a little kid, now you do it in your car/truck

puddle hunting is good around here, me and my friend hit this one a foot deep and water was up 10 feet or so. after a couple times my power steering started cutting in and out lol but it was fun
