upper a arm not realeasing??

How can I get the upper a arm to release. will the torsion bars being to tight cause it not to release?

What are you trying to do? With the weight off of the front end, the torsion bar will pin the upper A-arm down against the bump stops. You will need to loosen the torsion bar bolts, and more than likely they will break.

this site should have the bolts to replace the broken ones. OEM Toyota.

Be careful when loosening the bolts, some members have had the top part puncture the bottom of the cab.

I was putting spacers on and the control arm would not go up but I figured it out. I had to put shims under the bump stops and it worked great
