Thanks a lot. It has come a long way from where it was 3 months ago sitting in the back of one of my fathers garages. Still a bit more to do, but everything is either ordered, or sitting in the garage waiting.

Holy Crap, that's a lot of pics to show that you have a license plate light out!

Your runner is clean, but you should have thrown a coat of paint on those cargo panels while you were in there. That shines up real nice. Where did you get it painted?

What size/brand of tire you have on those 3rd gen rims? Those look good too. Nice work.

Haha, I did not even realize that there was a light out. At night it lights the plate up more than enough for me ( and the police, apparently ).

I got it painted back home in Oregon by a guy named Mark Phillips. It was in TERRIBLE condition. He sanded it, fixed 49 dents, and painted it for about $1,000. And he did a great job. There is only one TINY spot above the passenger door where the paint ran a little.

The tires are T235/75 R15 104/101S GTRadial Adventuro M/T Radial's. I am not sure what that mess means. =)

Thanks for the compliments.

Those looks bigger then 235's. Must be the tread pattern.

And I was wondering about those Oregon plates....... Now I know.

It would make those new Alpine's stand out even more!!

That was the thread I saw and decided to paint mine, I couldn't find the same stuff, but I used duplicolor fabric paint to paint the carpet charcoal gray, so I painted the panels charcoal as well.

Wow, thanks for the link, Buddy. Other than re-wire my cigarette lighter, that will be my next to-do.

Thanks again,

Alex

Thanks, guys. The interior needs some work though. The speakers sound really good. You would not be disappointed at all.

Take care, let me know when you want to tackle the rest of that stuff.

Peace out,
JB

Talking

I have taken a liking to the gen 1 4 Runners, This is my first one, and I have no plans for getting rid of it, like all rebuilds I just would never get my money back from the old tub if I tried. I have spent too much on mine, but they do have very nice lines to me, and yours is a very nice example of how they can look, sometimes I think I should have left mine alone, but hey I still love them all.
