Ugly Stripes GONE!
Ever since I got the truck, I've wanted to take those hideous stripes off the sides and tailgate. Here's the results!
Thanks to the magic eraser head/tool thing, I'm much more pleased with this truck. I have hub covers for those rims, I just forgot about them until after I had the rims on already, I was gone too long.

Oh yeah, and that one picture of the back was to try to emphasize the new YOTATECH sticker I put on it, thanks to James Dean - I got it the other day, thanks again. I JUST saw that you've got the windshield banners, I've been wanting something to put across the top of it, and those ones you've made look pretty sick. I also need some TRD Off Road decals for the back qp's.

and thanks for the compliments guys.

LOL It's not a Mr. Clean "magic eraser", I guess I said it wrong - It's called a "smart eraser", essentially yes, it's the rubber head that goes on a pneumatic air tool, it goes at 4,000rpms and seems like it uses heat and the rubbing action to get it off. a little wipe with a rag, and some cleanerwax and it looks great. if you put your face against the body, you can see the outline of the old decals, but from standing distance it looks wonderful. They're Rough County Hydro 8000 shocks. As far as the use of the smart eraser, I thought it was great, almost fun - but you've got to have a decent air compressor unless you've got some patience. Took about 2-3 hours to get it all off, you can go for about 15 seconds, then you have to wait for the compressor to fill back up, or at least with mine I did.

The 3M one can be used in a die grinder or a regular drill. Comes with the mandrel that holds it.

I used the Astro Pneumatic Pinstripe Removal Tool, seen here:
and the following can't-keep-up compressor:
I actually paid $72 for the tool that came with one eraser head, because I got it from a local shop and I'm impatient. I found it for $55 here: http://www.mytoolstore.com/astro/astmat06.html
The head itselft is only $10, and you can get a die grinder for $10 from Harbor Frieght.
