twin T-case 86 with an 83 T- case?

I have an 83 parts truck I was wondering if I could use the T-case out of it and put it into the 86 to twin T-case it.

All the specifics on t cases that will work with what are on the Marlin crawler website. Read there.

I am using an 83 pick up t case for my crawler box with my 85 t case.

Some of the earlier than 83 t cases have some weird idiosyncracies.

It will work, however, if it was late '83, you may need to convert to top shift, which is about $80.

The ideal case is '85-89 Type 3 - top shift with quiet run gears.
