Hey guys,

Rebuilding the old 1986 22RE. Got the bottom end machined and rebuilt with factory-style .20 over pistons, decked the block .10 and the head .10 for slightly increased compression (just enough to run premium after adjusting timing). The head is high performance, ported and polished, .440 lift cam, oversize valves, 70lb springs, titanium retainers, etc.

I was thinking of getting some slightly bigger injectors to help with the fuel flow. RTE injectors (if i'm not mistaken) match the plug and rail design of my truck's injectors and rail and are rated at 300cc verses the stocker's 200cc.

The question is, will they work with my factory fuel / ignition / EFI system and give me the slight extra juice that I'm looking for? My thinking is that they are rated at the same resistance (2.5 ohm), so they should just flow more juice at each level the computer tells it to...right??

I know that I need SDS or megasquirt to really get the adjustibility that I really need, but will these theoretically work for now? (I'm running out of cash...haha)

Any advice or educated opinions would be greatly appreciated!
