turbo a 22re ???
my buddy has a 22ret and his gettin rid of the turbo setup so what all would i have to do to make it work and how much will i notice it..i have a 91 22re 5 speed with probly 100 miles on it?

Well, the blocks are different. If he's getting rid of the turbo, trade him your NA for his turbo! Straight up! And trade him transfer cases, transmissions, and rear axles too!

You need 22rte pistons, an oil feed, an oil drain, his injectors, his ECU, perhaps his AFM.
Your wiring harness is very different.
Better to turbo your truck as is, without swapping the toyota stuff.
Note, he can't just take off the turbo - he'll have a 7.5:1 CR dog of a truck.

the turbo 22re's are 7.5 to one???????????? what are they running like 45 psi or something???? my dsm was only 8.5 to one then i went to 9.5 to 1 7.5 to 1 wow HOLLY SLOW DOG OF A TRUCK WITH OUT THE TURBO BATMAN
