True Cold Air Intake
Hello everyone i have a 87 toyota pickup 22r with a weber 32/36 carb was really wanting some ideas on how to make a true cold air intake instead of the air filter being right on top of the motor. I would go back with the oem air filter housing but they seem hard to find especially in Alabama. Has anyone seen anything or maybe done something i can borrow from them idea wise thinking of running mine into the cab somehow but just not sure which route to take. Any help would be great thanks!

I don't know about the Weber air cleaner, but the factory has a tube that runs out to the front of the engine bay, and feeds through the metal plate in the front of the compartment. Very cold air intake indeed.
Maye you can rig up something similar, or maybe the factory tube will hook up as it does to the factory air cleaner?
