Unhappy Truck finally died...

I was getting gas, pulled away from the pumps and my R/R tire rubbed on one of those big metal things that are there to protect the gas pumps.

It was just enough that it pulled the spring mount right off the frame . I knew the frame was rusted and that it was only a matter of time. Now I have $25 worth of gas that I can't use!

Now it's time to buy a Tacoma.

that sucks man, think of it as a learning experience! i had a similar problem with my subaru last week, the strut blew up through the rusted strut housing!! i knew the car was bad (rusted out) and basically drove it very hard in hopes to kill it before winter, but its funny when these things happen, i literally just filled up my tank and hit a manhole cover and "BAM", it's more of an incentive now to put attention on my truck(s), now only if my wallet was not so empty and the black flies weren't so bad and impending archery season, job, girlfriend..blah blah blah u get the picture!

I love these trucks, to own one takes a unique personality!!
Good luck on the Tacoma search brotha!! One will find you!!

I would but that was my only vehicle. A friend from work is letting me borrow his truck until I buy one. Guess the gas will go in his truck.

I used to work at a body shop, it seemed like most of the cars there had full tanks or id find the reciept for gas in the car 1-3 days before the car came in.

Crazy stuff happens when you get gas lol.

At least it failed in the gastation, not while hitting a bump in the road at 60mph...

Exclamation

Come to find out. My friend from the body shop sold the truck for $200.
The person buying the truck knows the frame is no good, and the wheels/tires aren't included.
I didn't think the truck was worth that much while it was running
