its a 86 4runner sr5 turbo with a 5 speed swap and manual locking hubs. when i lift one tire off the ground and put it into 4wd the tire will spin,but the drive shaft will not. what else can i do to figure out what the problem is?

sounds like hubs aren't locking.

 

I'm having an issue like this that just cropped up. Wheels are locked and it didnt feel like 4wd was engaged. 4wd light was on.
