I am running downey HD coils in back and the downey26mm bars in front. I have the wheel to fender lip measurement on the front @ 14.5". I dont have any rubbing issues at all. As far utting the front valance, all I did was measure 1.25" front the top of the valance on the edges and toward the middle where it starts to curve I just took a few measurements to even it on both sides then eyeballed the curce with a sharpie. I then used tape to outline the cut. I used a pneumatic cut-off wheel, but a jigsaw with a metal cutting blade would probably work better.

OMG - That's gorgeous. You have my exact rim/tire combo. I'm totally jealous. Your runner looks great with your new tires. I can't wait to have mine. Only a couple more weeks away and then it's off to new trails and adventures.
