tread wrights ordered

Well I ordered my first set of 31/10.50/15 OTR retreads today. I'll post up some pics when they get mounted and do a little review of them once I get to go wheel with them. The reviews I've seen already looked great and for 415$ for 5 tires shipped to my door I really couldn't complain.

Awesome! ive been looking at these tires for a while,
you cant beat the price. Are you DD with em or they pure trail?
im curious what kind of miles you can get out of them.

Hey, here's some pictures of my Treadwright D/Muds in 285/75/r16

They look like brand new tires, you can't tell they're retreads. I've driven 300-400 miles on them, and they are smooth, a little noisy (but it's due to the tread pattern), and extremely stable on the highway. They grip great offroad when aired down.

These tires are going on my DD. I do wheel a little now and am planning on more in the future. The number 1 reason I went with these was the large amount of positive reviews. Number 2 was the price.

Yup that tread is SICK! I was going to go that route but didn't see the need for tread that aggressive. That and I fear that they would be loud on the street.

i got the same tires on my DD and i love them, a little noisier than my bfg at's were but they seem to out perform them in the dirt. mine came with bfg side walls and i haven't had any problems with them, i would definetly buy them again.

They are getting more sizes of them in June too, depending on the price and shipping I may run them in 285/75/16

Just a tip, you can specify what casings you want your tires on. I requested BFG A/T carcasses for their 3ply sidewall.

The holes I think you refer to are stud holes. It is called "Pinned for studs".

...and the little specks you see in the tread of my tires are "green diamonds". They're basically little shards of industrial grade diamonds worked into the tread that act kind of like studs in the icy weather. They worked pretty well during our brutal winter months in Milwaukee.

I've had these tires on my truck (31x10.5) for about a year and a half now. I've done close to 10k miles on them and they are looking great. One tire has worn down quite a bit, but that's because I'm an idiot and drove it with the alignment off... I'd definitely recommend these tires.

If you read my post above You'll find your answer. "Ultra-grip" is just their new terminology for "green diamonds".
