Will a 2002 A340E Transmission work in my 94 which runs the same transmission?

 

I have a chance to buy one that has 19k on it for $600.

 

Any help here?

 

My quick answer would be "no".

As I understand it, the later model A340 has different sensor outputs than your 94 computer will understand.

But I will defer to those with autos for a definite answer.

 

Is it worth more than that? Then buy it and see what the differences are. Will it work is a loaded question. Work with the computer is the question. Or will the sensors interchange? I'd bet it will work, but what you need to do to make it work I can't answer. Maybe just some cut and solder. Not much help from me. Good luck.
