Try putting on some of the other bolts and then go after the problem one. You probably have the weight of the tranny/transfer case resting all on that one bolt.

Yeah, I've gone through tranny removal at least three times. Fun it is not. I'd go easy with the heat, there's some sensitive stuff near there, but you know all that. Have you tried increasing the psi of the compressor. Sometimes the difference between 100 and 125 is enough to do the job. You can even try tightening it a little at 80-100, sometimes that breaks up the crud stopping it from loosening.

Also, my signature about location wasn't directed at you, per se. It appears in all of my posts-it wasn't a direct shot at you. However, if I did live in Stockton, I'd be over to help-I have friends in Lodi who owe me dinner anyway.

when i had a 3 inch body lift it was cake!!!. I think last time i did a clutch with out the body lift I used a WHOLE BUNCH of extensions, and a swivel rotaing extension(or whatever your call em) along with like a two foot breaker bar.

make sure the socket is on the head of the bolt flush and give it a twist. for some reason I actually think the extensions make it easier. it gives some play while twisting (like bending an antenna or stick I guess) instead of started from a dead stop and trying to break the bolt. For some reason I reall suck at trying to explain things right now.
