Transmission problems

I have a 1990 pickup 4sp. And out of no where it started not wanting to go into gear. I cannot get it to go into, or stay in any gear. I can keep it in 2nd only by holding it in gear. Truck worked great before, and then it started doing it while going down the road. The clutch doesnt feel to be slipping or anything. Any ideas?

Dealership might be the quickest. its a plastic bushing and seat that can be replaced by removing the shifter boots and alum shifter cover.

yep thats all it takes. my pickup has that same problem but its first gear for me. i bought a seat and socket from marlin and it shifts much smoother now but it didnt solve the popping out of gear problem for me. the seat and socket is a quick fix. it took me like 15 min. i do recommend replacing it first though cause its worth the $16
