Transmission identification?

Transmission identification?
Hey guys,
Recently bought a 93 pickup, the previous owner replaced the transmission and transfer case with a used set, not sure why. One thing he told me, and I've confirmed, is that the bottom bell housing bolt doesn't line up. I thought this was pretty weird, it's 1/2 hole off. When I get some gumption I may try to loosen the rest of the bolts up and try to get it to line up.
I can't find any tags on the transmission or transfer case, is there any way to make sure it's the right transmission? Is there any chance that it's the wrong one?
The other weird thing is the shifter seems to be oddly located. It goes further forward than I would expect would be normal, but I've never had a Toyota like this before so I don't have anything to reference. What I do know is when I shift into any of the top gears (1,3,5) my hand hits the cup holder if it's out. It's centered left to right in 1st and 2nd gear, and moves to the right of center in 3, 4, 5 and R. Does that sound normal?
Thanks

https://www.marlincrawler.com/transm...built-complete Might help you identify it. I have seen the sticks stuck in backwards. May need to remove it and install it 180 degrees around.
