Transfer case mount?

So this weekend I changed the clutch on my runner, the throwout bearing was making noise so I put in a new centerforce kit while I was in there. This was the biggest project I've ever done and it was fun and learned a ton while I was in there but it was exhausting work hahaha

Anyways so before I started I noticed that the transfer case has a rubber mount attached but isn't attached to the crossmember or anything... Something is either missing or it's always been like that and I never noticed

Any ideas on what is supposed to be there if anything?

Its a counter weight and its there because the drive shaft and transfer case front drop is on the other side.

Kind of a janky counterweight lol I'm pretty sure IIRC that it's made of rubber like the trans mount.

Pretty sure it's metal underneath the rubber.
Even look like some of the rubber on yours has worn off showing a little bit of metal...
