does eny one eny good trails in canada ontario and that have camp sites as well

Ontario is a huge province man, where are you at? I used to work for MNR in northern and northwestern ontario.

trumpfan, you know of any trails in northwestern ontario? i cant find squat minus power lines

I know some decent stuff up spruce river road about an hour from Armstrong towards obonga lake, theres the graham road and Raith, Boreal forest rd up hwy 590. Best bet for you is to go to get some topo maps from the MNR which have most of the fire roads that most of these trails branch off of and just go exploring there is literally thousands of small roads and trails out on crown land or GLFP land (watch for logging trucks though) I`ll see if I can hunt down some old stuff when I get back to Edmonton (I writing this in a hotel room in Calgary)

trumpan, hey cool, thanks for the heads up on the topo maps from the mnr..never thought of that. Can you just get them at the regional offices? Im in Thunder Bay.

Yup up Authur st, try D&R sports and canadian tire too. They should have some of those topo maps of lakes that have all the access roads on them, some of them show seasonal roads that`ll be closed in the winter, that make for good winter wheeling.

yeh we gotta find some new trails :thumbup:

apparently theres mackenzie station road tis just past the shuniah dump there are some good off roading there there is a turn off you can go to

lake horewood has great fishing below the dam, and some nice trails all over

isnt it down more towards the end of lakeshore? thats where mackenzie stn road is right? funny, i went for a drive down lakeshore to find places the other weekend, but went as far as that conservation area and turned around.

alright, i found where mackenzie station road is now... bomb it down the 11/17 and it will be way past terry fox and past spruce river...keep on going and it will be just before lakeshore and 11/17 intersect
