Swimmerboy -

You should check this guys thread out: https://www.yotatech.com/forums/f152...er-sas-141780/

This has been my inspiration to SAS my 4Runner for awhile now. He's running a TG kit with 10" bilsteins, OME 2" leaf packs, with a HD add a leaf and OME 3.5" shackles. He says the TG springs are pure junk. and recommends the OME suspension ( they're a little more pricey, but worth it nonetheless )Those tires are 33x12.50s. He also shows how to modify an ARB to fit with leaf hangers

Didn't see how to modify? Maybe I missed it?

Swimmer, I'm about to do the same thing, except I've got a pickup. Hoping to replace the existing 4" bracket lift in the front with a 3" TG. I'm already clearing 35s with the IFS lift and a 1" BL. Still debating whether to modify the axle for an e-locker, or just throw a Lockrite in there. I like the e-locker idea, except for when/if the locker dies, and I can't put a regular diff in there.

Cyberman - you make a good point about the e-locker. That's why I haven't done one yet.

there was a thread around here about cable actuating the e-locker, since the "e" is what fails.

Elockers are overpriced, overrated and a pita. You ruin your housing to make it fit, the motors screw up, etc. Numerous friends all used to have them and not a one still has them. Going to spool mine front and rear.

I have a source to get an e-locker for $150, the only reason I was considering it. Otherwise I've already got two 4 cyl diffs. Wabbit, would you advise I use one of those with a lockite, or should I get V6 w/lockrite, like I already have in the rear?

I've got the same goals as Brian, keeping it as streetable as possible, hopefully keeping the height about the same. And I'll be coming to you again for my TG kit.

Use what you got. Little bit of strength difference maybe 4 cyl to V6 but your average wheeler it will never matter.

I'm using V6 diffs but that's what I got cheapest/free.

Here's the plan,

Gonna wait until xmas time when the vendors will have some good deals. Hopefully they come down on price on the IFS Eliminator kits.

I'm going with the 3" kit up front and the 3" kit in the rear.

With the hard top on, this will make the back sag, so i will be removing the 3rd leaf in the front springs to level out the 4Runner. (Thanks Scotty for that suggestion!).

then it will be time to cut and
