So I had ordered a trial gear bumper from waskillywabbit. And it's the rock defense one with the bar. What can I paint it like black I don't wanna use some cheap spray paint I'm wanting it to stay on not rub off. thanks for the help

 

All paint sucks unless you do a good prep job. Id just spray paint it. Trick is to pay more then $2 for a can of spray paint.

Scuff it real good especially the welds, and use some acetone or alcohol on it before painting. You should be good. Once and a while Ill go around and shoot some paint on my bars, but I beat it on rocks and trees.

 

This may sound like a dumb question but why go around with acetone on it?

 

It's a cleaner. Takes the oils and dirt off the metal.
