TPS Measurment Help

My TPS is measuring Open/Infinite between E2 and IDL at anything above 0.2mm on the feeler gauge. I'm also reading 15K at 0.117mm. Accordign to the 4crawler site, I should read under 2.3K with 0.5mm feeler gauge. All the other tests are checking out OK. Do you think the TPS is bad or it needs adjustment? I want to be sure before i start messing with it or replacing it. THA

Truck: 22-RE

I have a similar issue. I have a truck thats stuck at a 2k idle speed that varies slightly. The E1 TE1 jumper does nothing to the idle speed.

I tested the TPS today. VTA and E2 check out fine, perfect stats throughout the range, but the IDL E2 gets nothing.. no readings at any range in the throttle. Bad TPS?

4Crawler has rather specific measurements for testing the TPS. Follow them. If he says use an 0.5 MM gauge, use it.

Likely a TPS that needs adjustment. Follow the guide on 4Crawler's site, linked above.
