torshion bars

how do i crank them up im geting blocks for the rear tomarrow and need some one to post up some pics showing me how to do this?

First, try searching. That will give you a detailed answer.

But, essentially, you want to jack the front end up until the tires come off the ground. DON'T ADJUST THEM ON THE GROUND.

Spray penetarnt on the adjusting bolts.

I believe some of the older trucks have a lock nut, you should be ok.

Drop it back down and drive it around. Check and repeat if necessary. GET AN ALIGNMENT.

Seriously get an alingment ASAP after messing with your torsion bars.

And I would avoid cranking the bars more then about 1-1.5"

well i got the lift blocks in today and tried to crank my tosion bars but couldnt figure it out so no luck on the front.

Seriously, if you couldn't figure out how to crank up the torsion bars.....please do not put the blocks in by yourself.
