Ya we ended up deciding that the Driveway Torque spec is "Effing Tight"

I don't know how you could have missed it.

You do know those numbers next to the bolts are the torque specs don't you?

Looks like 32 ft·lbs for all of them.

Ha, well we did it in the dark so didn't even see the Numbers, looked at it this morning and sure enough there they are Buddy had to drive to Vancouver this morning and the seat belt completely locked up on Him so we just needed to do it asap.

Great to be safe and all but they are just seatbelts dude. Because of the angle the belt pulls on the bolt (90 deg), that bolt could be loose and still function properly as a seat belt. Just snug it fairly well to keep it from vibrating to full loose. They are fairly hard to get off due to the undercoating and 20 years of rust built up on the end of the bolt not because they need to be tight. Don't bust your knuckles on a seatbelt bolt.

Which means in the entire life of your vehicle, they only have to work ONE TIME. You might not get second chance to do it right.
