I have a bad TC and I am unable to find one anywhere. I bought one at autozone and Napa and both had the wrong bolt pattern on the rear. None of the local yards have one either. Anyone know where I can get one that will work? Its a 94 Pickup 22re 4X4

The original should have a number on it and possibly a color code. I think the one you want is the T0-18B. You need to carefully measure the bolt pattern, number of pads, pad height, and the neck diameter to be sure.

- Hughes Performance, ATS, or any tranny shop will be able to furnish one.

Ok, going by that thread you still have no clue as to what the problem(s) is/are.

When you reinstalled the TC are your sure you got is seated correctly into the pump ?
Did it spin freely then (it would have to if you seated it correctly, else you couldn't seat it).

If it is the TC, then the tranny will have to come apart for a look see inside.
There's not a lot that can happen to the torque converter that won't pooch the tranny in the process.
If any "hard" parts, inside the tranny, broke, such as parts of the stator or rotor or bearings, thrust washers, etc., then you have metallic crap that would have been pulled into the tranny, into the pan if you're lucky, into the internal tranny if you're not lucky.
If you toasted the lockup clutch, then you would have french fried the tranny fluid and parts of the internals of the tranny.
If you pooched the pump lock area then there is debris inside the trany for sure.

So, pretty much no matter what, if the TC is pooched, then tranny's gotta be pulled apart and checked.

EDIT:
What color was the tranny fluid that came our of the TC when you pulled it.
Was it nice and bright red (doesn't look like it) with a "crisp" smell, or was it all dark and yellow/brown/green with a smell that would want to make you puke ?

 

The TC was seated correctly and spun freely.
Both times that I pulled the TC the fluid was bright red.
It did not smell burnt in anyway, smelled like the old fluid which smelled like the new fluid that I Put in.

 

If the flexplate fatigued like that, it's prolly because something was misaligned or out of balance. The TC is a likely suspect.
