Well I don't know if its technically against the law, but we went down roads with signs saying "WARNING LOW MAINTENEINCE TRAVEL AT YOUR OWN RISK" and there was no sign about tresspassing or any fines or anything like some are posted. And they got all huffy and puffy because I was tearing up "roads" if you wanna call a foot of mud that you can barely fit a truck down that.

i've been on public land that NOBODY owns..i guess it'd be government land..anyways it was an OLD access road the veered off of a well used access road to get into a guys land...well at the end of the old road theres a BIG open field..nothing but weeds in it..no signs of it being plowed..or anything being driven to it or in it...me and some friends started rippin it up and guy come along and said its his land and that we needa leave or he'll call the 5-O..so we left..i told my dad about the ordeal and we got out a book that shows who owns what land in the WHOLE state of oklahoma...and it showed that NOBODY owned that land...so he just didnt want us out there..(why...i dont know...might have some mary jane back there for all i know) well needless to say to keep the cops off my case..i just didnt go back...well..i've went back a couple of times..after some BIG rains..that was back when my friends didnt decent tires..all they had were m/t's and i had my swampers..i was the only one that could make it around out there..and i was in 2wd while they were in 4hi..lol...then they got swampers so now im not alone..lol..when we have parties we have them at muddin places where cops cant get too..(no 4wd vehicles..lol) everybody piles in the back of my truck and my friends ford and we all haul arse back in there and party..if the cops do come back there on foot..we know the place well enough that we'd be able to get out of there pretty quick like so we dont get caught..lol

That was a pretty cool video of your dash, interspersed with some periodic mudding footage.

I wish our dirt roads stayed that nice after the rain. I try not to just go out and tear up the road because there is always someone that lives down the road. My buddy lives on a dirt road and everytime it rains there will all ways be some jackass rutting up the road just to get their truck dirty to show off.

Well, it is considered resource damage to someone (either local, state or federal LE`s) because of the condition you are leaving the road in. Imagine how neat-o of a road that is once those ruts dry & harden!!!

Yeah, maybe a Caterpillar grader could be rented for a few thousand dollars to re-grade the road surface, put in drainage, etc... Your ORV club member is right, and ripping up a road like that does more harm than good to the reputation of 4-wheelers...

WOW! I owe my life to the selfless act of an OK state trooper, and currently work as a firefighter & L.E.O. for a federal agency in AZ. Do ya think you could find a better term to describe your local public servants???

I mean, putting on stinky Kevlar & dealing with society`s lower-rung of people on a daily basis should earn someone a bit of respect, don`t you think?

Yes, SOME LE`s are exceedingly power-hungry control freaks, but EVERY LE does a mostly thankless job, and without a doubt, wouldn`t hesitate to pull your ass out of your wrecked & burning `yota had you rolled it at 80...

Wow, I am fired up! PIG? Are you some kind or outlaw rapper dude?

Notice I called HIM a pig, not any other cop, He ask if I had been smoking marijuana, I said no and he said "Don't lie to me boy", Finally I said I plead the 5th and he said "What?" and I said, "You know the 5th, the right to shut the hell up, the one you guys never shut up about.." he got got all pissed off and went back to his car, 20 minutes later here he comes and hands me a ticket and asks me to sign it, then he tells me to have a nice night, I said "Yeah you have a nice in' night yourself" Thats the only time I've ever been an to a cop or really any authority figure for that matter, but that guy was about as crooked as a hillbilly's smile.

PS-Yeah Im an outlaw rapper, the thug life is the life for me, I'm a real G-Unit growin up in the hardcore projects of suburban KANSAS

Yeah no one lives on these roads.. You have to drive on five of them to get to a whole slew of them out in the middle of nowhere, half the time they don't even lead to fields. One of them led us into a cove into the woods?

Dang, I know your kind! The hardcore rappers are all from Hutch & Lawrence...

I would also suggest going to a funeral for an officer who was killed in the line of duty. A rather sobering experience... Personally, I don`t think there is any excuse for calling a cop a PIG. I prefer more PC terms like pine-swine, bush-bacon or the ever popular `Smokey the PIG`... Pardon my ranting, but it sounds to me like the officer who stopped you did give you a break if he suspected drug use. He could have detained you & had you take a blood test, & any contraband in your system could give you a DUI charge.

Either way, if you plan on future run-ins with the law, a little politeness & a lot of truth will go miles & miles.............

I can't believe you're taking crap for driving down a dirt road. Better yet, a road that warns the drivers that it isn't maintained.

Sometimes the police on this forum really amaze even me.

TR, if I was anywhere near you I'd come join you on those road for a spin or two. That looks like perfectly legal fun to me.
