Tires???

I have been searching quite a bit but I am still questioning the the tires I want to get. A little background on the truck, stock besides K&N, 92 toyo pickup with the 22re. I dont really care about ride quality(its nothing great now... haha) noise etc, I do want a tire that performs well in the light and deep snow, and on ice, as I use this vehicle for going up skiing almost every weekend. Wear should be decent, but price is a very big consideration for me since I am in college and dont have a ton to spend. I originally wanted to go to a 31 10.50 on the truck, but I was also wondering if a 32 11.50 would work? Like I said I have been looking at AT REVOS, BFG AT, etc but they are very expensive, and coming from a mustang I have NO clue on good truck tires...

Thanks,
Dan

michelin M+S. Great for snow, decent on ice (not like a studded tire, but compared to any regular tire.) because they are already siped. I know they don't look aggressive, but they are great tires, you can get 85k out of a set easy. The highway ride is great. The only thing is they are kinda pricey.

I run the BFG A/Ts and they are great tires. I have had them on 4 different rigs and they work well for what you described. Also, since they are a popular tire you can usually find some slightly used where people have decided to move up in size or to a more agressive/mud tire. Just look around a bit before you spring for new. On size, with a 22-RE and stock gearing it's gonna lose a good bit of power going to 32s. The 31s are a good compromise. Hope this helps!
