Tilt Install Problems...

So, I picked up tilt column out of a 94 PU that I want to put in my 93 (literally, I just walked up to the truck and in the floorboard, there it was). I dropped the current column in about 5 minutes, then was ready to install the tilt and I got stuck. So I have to ask you guys: how do I get this column (left) on this shaft (right)? That bolt circled will not break either, so I don't know what to do.

Thanks guys.

Soak that bolt and shaft with your penetrating oil of choice I use Kroil

You more than likely have to soak it at least over night

Then you will also no doubt have to put it in a vise to be able to break it loose if you have pulled it out

I smothered that thing in PB Blaster the other day and left it overnight; nothing. I think I may try to be VERY careful with a torch and see what I can do. I'll get to it this weekend; I have to leave on business tomorrow. We'll see what happens then.

To be honest, I still have not had time to finish the job, haha. I have been so busy with work. I will let you know as soon as possible. I also need to post my interior build-up, but that may take a while and I don't have much time as-of-late. I'll let you guys know ASAP.
