I need a new throttle cable for my 4runner 1988. I found out the part nummer, but all I can find are products online and they are all very expensive (over $70 for a cable...). What I cannot find out is the length of the cable. I have seen similar cables to mine for way cheaper, but they all measure in at 38.5 inches, whereas mine I have measured to be about 42 inches. I am not sure if it just stretched over the years, or if it really has to be 42 inches. Does anyone in the community know how long this cable is supposed to be?
