Will a throttle body from an 84 toyota celica with a 22RE work on a 86 4Runner with a 22RE ?, the only difference i can see it that the celica throttle body has 5 vacuum line fittings on the top and the one on the 4Runner only has 3. they look the same to me other than the 2 extra vacuum fittings, and it would be no big deal to plug them off.

 

How bout the IAC valve, are they similar too? I don't see why you couldn't, but then again I've never tried either, so I can't speak from experience. If you have them both, why not give 'er a shot? Worst you could do is damage a $1 gasket

 

should work. Cars have stricter emissions, which may account for the extra fittings on the t-body. compare the 2 side by side to determine which fittings you need to use (location of the hole in relation to the throttle plate inside)
