Eh honestly it's not too bad. I'd drive my yota every day if I didn't like cummins much more

DAMN! thatd be awsome. theres a guy sellin one uh hose 4 cyl diesel toyota motors in my town for $1,500. itd be interesting but ehhh not for me. thinkin more a 3.4 swap or maybe even a 4.0 outta a new wrecked taco

Yeah, I had my hands on a 4bt cummins that I was gonna eventually throw into the original swampthing. But it died a spectacular death, so I sold it before I bought and lifted the ST2...

Why not go with a 4.3l chev v6? Tons of people do those swaps. And the great thing about the 4.3 is that it's basically a 350 with two cylinders cut off. An eff'in huge aftermarket for it.

True, look at what bigblockyota did. IIRC = If i recall correctly.

Oh and yeah I hear ya. I absolutely loath chevy, but they do know how to make a good gas motor. Diesel though? Pfft... Don't waste your time and money.
