testing o2 sensor... quick question...

testing o2 sensor... quick question...

okay.. yes.. ive looked in the FSM and searched the search engine.. but couldnt find anything to answer my question...


so first i am trying to test my o2 sensor... what K should i set it at?? 20k? 200k? or what? it doesn't specified in the FSM.. it just say to test it... so can anyone just answer this quick question! thanks!

help please.. what is the correct setting for the ohm reader??

the O2 sensor generates a voltage; measuring it with an ohmmeter will get you nowhere.

Some O2 sensors have integral heaters. The FSM has a procedure for checking the heater, and for some year/models specifies 5-7 ohms.
