And an FYI, in case you didn't know RayneTorrin, that's the vacuum switching valve for the a/c idle up valve in his pic. If you don't have one, it won't hurt anything, but your idle will drop a little when you turn the a/c on. Well, suppose to anyway.

thook, I'm glad you found that info on "temp sensor No. 2". That's the first diagram I've ever seen that shows it. I think it's strange that the FSM never mentions or shows it.

Well, it took me getting a part number....although, the numbers I gathered off the switch still weren't the right one....and really getting the parts fellow at dealership to dig for info through his computer.

I've still not made the concentrated time to look over the TSB and figure out how the switch functions, but I suspect it's affecting how my vehicle runs. My vehicle does seem to be displaying the symptoms it describes.

RayneTorrin....

Keep digging around. It may be buried/dangling somewhere under the intake manifold. Hopefully, no one cut it off. If so, it's not a complicated repair at all.

Well, you don't have too many single wires to choose from, so it won't be too bad...I hope...lol!

Good luck...
