I have a 1987 sr5 pickup and I had problems with the temp gauge jumping up and down about a year ago so I tore it apart and did the fix on the wires, it was working fine after that till the other day then it started again, took it back apart and tried to fix it, but know it does not work. So my question is, did toyota use the same gauge in the other 80's style pickups, I found a non sr5 gauge cluster for $30 and thought I could take out the part I needed to put in mine or would I have to find another sr5 gauge cluster.
