Taking Fuel Injector Assembly off

Hi,

I am trying to take out the fuel injector assembly and I am sort of stuck with one metal pipe holding the whole assemble down. So, if I unbolt the 4 bolts holding the injector assembly down, I am unable to un-attach the metal pipe as shown in the pictures.

Any input on how do I take it off?

Thanks

Unbolt it from the fuel rail. The bell looking thing (fuel damper).
It's 20-something mm......I used a crescent wrench.

just a friendly reminder...

If you remove the fuel lines... save yourself the trouble of posting a 'I cant seem to stop this fuel leak' post....

Head down to the toyota dealership, and get the fuel line washers/seals before attempting to put it back together... the stuff at the car parts stores never works right, and its actually cheap at the dealership, 10/15 cents a washer, grab 3 bucks worth to have extras just in case.

Also, ask for a printout of the area your working on, its free.

:::I went through the hell of a cold start injector spraying fuel in my eyes for a week, till I eventually got the right washers at the dealership ::::

Still cant get them off!

Thanks for the tip! I remember that.

However, I having issue in removing the fuel injectors. Out of the three on each fuel line, one of the injector seems to be stuck on, the other two are pulling right out but one of them would not budge at all. I tired turning it and sliding it out, but nope, it doesnt want come out

Am I doing anything wrong? Is there a specific way to pull them out.

They just "snap" in...just try to pull harder. They should come straight out. The only things holding them in is the rubber seals.
Of course, you'll want to change the seals when you replace.
