Question takes a few seconds to start when cold

its a 91 p/up v6 5spd 4wd, and i had the head gaskets donw on it a few months ago, eversince then when the truck is cold it takes a few turnovers before it starts, prior to the head gasket job, it was one n done, can anyone tell me wat can be causing this,

also another question, i have a 4" procomp lift kit on it, wondering wat is the biggest tire i can fit on it, right now im running 32x11.50x15, which were on there before the list kit was put on????

Im guessing you should check out the cold start injector.

About tires, you can run a 32 stock.

Not sure if you have the same throttle body as I do but your Idle air control valve could be stuck closed. Mine started slow (though not seconds like you) and did not have that quick surge to 2k rpm when it finally fired up. The IAC is accessible on the rear of the TB under the plate held on with 4 small machine screws. Push the center cone down with a soft rod (dowel, whatever..) and it should move freely. You can screw the retaining head in and out and adjust the cold air bypass cut in point. You'll need to remove the TB to do all this though, only takes 15min.
Back it all the way out and you never seal up your bypass and have a crazy high idle, screw it all the way in and she starts like a diesel in cold weather. Don't ask how I know these things!

I am new to yota's so my terminology my not be right, just sharing a fix that worked for me!
