Suspension Question
Right now I have a 1988 4runner, 22R-E Automatic. it is sased but the transmission recently pooped itself. My question is - would a 80's solid axle single cab or extended cab flex as well with a similar setup-4 inch lift leafs and similar shackles to my sased 4runner wich has 4 inch lift leafs and the kit shackles? im sorta intimidated by the tranny swap, i could hook it all up but the electrical part would stump me, not a doubt in my mind. So i might get a first gen pickup so i dont have to sas again and just combine my 4runner with it.

to get the flex you would still have to re-do your spring mounts to accept longer than stock springs....then hysteer conversion... power steering?
Are you scared to do a direct swap OR are you thinking about doing a manual tranny swap?
