super bouncy front end, newbie needs help
I have a 92 v6 5 speed 4wd 4runner. It's got a set of ball joint spacer lift and rear coil spacers (1.5" - 2"). I managed to fit 33x12.50's mud terrains.
The front end of the car is always bouncy and I even soften up the torsion bars in hopes to make it less bouncy. the car now articulates decent since the torsion bar adjust but it would bounce pretty hard even coming off of a curb (my bounce test ). i recently got a set of advanced auto parts struts in hopes that will cure my bounce issue but today i realized that the bottom mount of the shock (the loop where the bolt goes into) is ripped clean off.
what can I do to fix these issue? do i need a beefier shock? any help would be great.

It does look like i need some longer shocks, what's the guide line on picking out shocks that are longer? should i just go with one that's 3" longer when fully uncompressed or is there some math involved?

front shock question

what size of the shock should i be looking for? specifically, what are some of the cheaper solutions to get my rig back up and running? I'm looking to spend no more than 150 bucks on the front pair.

I've got KYBs in the front the PO put on and they perform well, I typically run 50mph on the beach and dunes with acceptable performance. I put ProComp ES9000s on the rear and they are great, I'll get some for the front when I get around to it. I think you can get some around your price range.

is 4" too much or is this going to be okay? i think my spacer did anywhere between 1.5 to 2" lift and the tires helped a bit but i don't know if that's part of the calculation. sorry for being such a newbie, this offroad thing is new to me.
