I have a chance to get a sunroof from a 86 pickup. I need one badly and he's only asking 10 dollars !!!
Now what I am wondering if the pickup sunroof is any different then the one in my 87 sr5 4Runner. The guy stated that it didn't fit in other trucks of similar years but I have a feeling he's not a yota guy.
my brother (who is a parts guy at toyota) says the dlx had a moon roof option but it looks the same as mine in the pics
Does any one know about different style sunroof glass in dlx sr5 or 4Runner to pickup is there a difference in any of them

 

If the sunroof for sale is the original factory from toyota, it is the same for both models, 4runners and p/u trucks but you should post a pic. just to make sure is not an aftermarket sunroof.

 

Well it came from a 86 xtra-cab dlx pickup he said that the dimensions were 29 3/4 x15 3/4 mine is 35" across ?? So I dunno what is going on there

 

Its $10 bucks, geezzz you cant buy a happy meal anymore for $10 bucks,buy and if it dosent fit resell it for $20

 

Does any one have an xtra-cab dlx with a sunroof they can measure

 

My 1986 SR5 Xtra-cab Pickup, 1988 SR5 4Runner, and 1992 Xtra-cab Pickup are all 36.5" x 19.5".

 

people put so many ranDom sized sunroof in cars in the 80-90's.
no guarantee it is a factory sunroof.

 

Right so random i assumed it was a aftermarket sunroof because the fact it didn't fit in other trucks is strange and I'm not about to put it on eBay and deal with returns and all that so I left it
