Stupid emissions crap

As I work my way deeper into the HG r&r on my 94 3.0 I am getting more and more agravated by all the emmisions stuff. How much (if any) can be eliminated w/ out hurting the truck? Btw where I live they don't test for emissions. thanks

Well... You can remove the EGR equipment with no problems. Unless you have a temp sensor in the EGR valve, this requires a 10k resister to prevent a thrown CEL.

Leave the Cat on there, or replace it with a hi-flow..

What kind of wiring / vacuum rerouting is involved in this? Also how can I tell if there is a temp sensor on the egr? Im used to bosch fuel injection... my old bmw has no crazy japanese emission devices.
