stuck birfield?

stuck birfield?
89 toyota pickup with SAS.
took my pig out in the mud the other night, and now it doesnt want to steer to the left at all. I found out by putting it in 4x4 it turns just fine...because of the rotation of the inner axles..? (Im assuming so)
Nothing visible is blocking any part of the steering mechanisms
when I put it back into 2 wheel, the truck fights the left turns.
..I also put in a front axle rebuild kit last summer, and a new inner axle on the driver side because the old one was sticky (the joint didnt want to rotate)..I can imagine the new one doing the same thing, causing a pain in my ass to turn.
any suggestions?
