THATS GREAT NEWS!!!!! Its about time some of these lowlife punks get caught and pay the price. I would check with the DA to see if there will be any restitution for the money and time you are out. I would put some longer bolts on the cat and weld behind the nuts, that way all you have to do is cut the excess off if you ever have to remove it. this tip works great for offroad lights and winches also. It doesn't prevent theft, but slows them down makes them make more noise= easier to get caught

 

if you want to keep it in CA, get a CA compatible cat.
unless the ref looks underneath it may never matter, but if they do your SOL.
