I have an 87 4 runner and i would like to put some 32-11.5-15 in tires on my stock rims. I believe the rims are 6 inches wide. I know the 32 in tires will fit on my truck at stock height no problem but my question is can i fit an 11.5 in wide tire on a 6 in wide rim without any problems? I know a lot of people run 12.5 in wide tires on 8 in rims. So will that one more inch be a problem or should i be ok?

I taked to americas tire company today and they said they wont even mount an 11.5 in wide tire on a 7 in rim. Thats just stupid, their is so many people running 12.5 on 8 in wide rims. Ill have them mounted somewhere else as long as it will be ok on a 6 in wide rim. Is anybody running a 5.5 in wider tire than the rim. Please let me know.
