Question Stnd. CAb to extra cab?

Im wanting to do the ex. cab swap to the truck in my avatar, its a 93 ex cab going on a 94 stnd, cab frame, would it be worth it and does anyone know a write up anywhere because on pirate the seach is down so Im having trouble finding it, if anyone here has done plese let me know how you did it, thanks.

Search is not down on Pirate. At the top of each page is a thread explaining how to search.

The swap has been documented many times by people on 4x4wire and PBB for 2nd gen trucks, but I've never seen one for a 3rd gen. You will need to measure the cabs; there may be interference with the rear of the cab and fender well. Marlin has also done this swap - check out his site.

The method is the same with 2nd and 3rd gen trucks. Too bad you didn't have a short bed frame though then you could have the short wheelbase and xcab, now that is cool!

dude thats what I have a stand. cab frame, theres been a bed added the 93 x-cab is way longer than my 94 stnd, thats why Im doing the swap. Thanks for the threads
